VideoCreate is operated by ASTRAFLARE LIMITED (Hong Kong) (“we”), the controller of the personal data described here. This policy explains what we collect when you use videocreate.org, who processes it, and how long we keep it. Questions: [email protected].
Videos you upload to Video→Prompt
- Where it goes. Your video is streamed to our server and placed in our storage (Cloudflare R2) under a random, unlisted link, from which one AI provider fetches it for analysis: Volcano Engine (ByteDance’s Ark platform, servers in China) or, as a fallback, kie.ai using Google Gemini. Both are paid services that do not use your video to train models.
- How long it exists. We delete the server copy and the stored copy as soon as the analysis finishes; anything left behind by an interruption is removed within two hours. If kie.ai is used, its file store deletes the upload within 24 hours. Volcano Engine processes the video within the request and states it does not retain inference data.
- What we keep. The text result (shot list and prompts), the file size and duration, and the time of the request. We never keep the video.
Account
You sign in with Google. We receive your name, email address and profile picture from Google and keep them while your account exists. A session cookie keeps you signed in.
Prompts and generated videos
- Prompts you submit are sent to the video model you choose through kie.ai, which runs Seedance, Kling and Wan models.
- Finished videos are copied to our storage (Cloudflare R2, United States) and kept in your account so you can download them.
- Before anything is generated, prompts are checked by a keyword filter and by OpenAI’s moderation API. Blocked prompts are logged with the reason and kept for at least 12 months so we can review abuse and payment disputes.
Payments
Payments are handled by Stripe. We never see or store your card number. We keep a record of each purchase (pack, amount, credits, Stripe payment ID) and every credit transaction.
Limits and abuse prevention
- To enforce free daily limits we store a salted hash of your IP address and of a random device identifier kept in a cookie (
vc_did). We don’t store your raw IP address for this. - Where enabled, Cloudflare Turnstile checks that a guest upload comes from a real browser.
Analytics
We measure page visits and button clicks to improve the site. Depending on configuration this uses Plausible (no cookies), Google Analytics and Microsoft Clarity. These services receive standard browser data such as pages viewed, device type and approximate location.
Where data is processed
Our servers are in the United States. Video analysis may be processed in China (Volcano Engine) or by kie.ai and Google. Payments are processed by Stripe; sign-in by Google.
Your choices
- Ask for a copy of your data, or for your account and its data to be deleted, at [email protected]. We answer within 30 days.
- Purchase records we must keep for tax and accounting, and moderation logs, are kept for the periods described above.
Children
VideoCreate is for people aged 18 and over. We don’t knowingly collect data from children.
Changes
If we change how data flows, we update this page and the date above before the change takes effect.
